A new flag pole and U.S. flag, donated by Shingobee, were recently installed at the Spirit Lake Tribe’s headquarters building in Fort Totten, North Dakota. Shingobee is currently constructing a new Elderly Center for the Tribe, and donated the flag pole as a gesture of good will.
A blessing was held earlier this month, with members of the various U.S. military services represented.
