You'd think winter would be a slow time for commercial construction, but it really isn't as slow as you might imagine! While certain aspects of construction can't be accomplished in winter (like laying asphalt), much of what we do can absolutely be done in cold weather. Financial Projects
Hometown Federal Credit Union in Northfield, MN – Construction started in June, to be completed in February.
First National Bank of Le Center in Lonsdale, MN – Construction started in September, to be completed in April.
US Bank Refresh in Sioux Falls, SD – Interior refresh and update is happening this month; exterior work will be completed in the spring (not pictured).
C-Store Projects
Holiday Stationstores in Hastings and Farmington, MN – Both opened in December.
Holiday Stationstore on Hiawatha in Minneapolis, MN – Started in December, to be completed in April.
Casey’s remodel in Andover, MN – Now complete.
Casey's site upgrades in Cannon Falls, MN – Now complete.
Casey's in Alexandria, MN – New store opened in December.
Casey's in Fargo, ND – Set to open at the end of January.
Brausen’s Auto in Arden Hills, MN – Started in October, to be completed at the end of March.
Retail / Restaurants
Lex Market in Blaine, MN – This new 11,000 square foot retail center will start construction later this month (not pictured).
Five Below in Monticello, MN – This 14,600 square foot tenant improvement and storefront project in the Union Crossing center started this month, to be completed March.
Chipotle Mexican Grill in Shakopee (not pictured) – Construction started Jan. 11 and will be completed Jan. 22. Find a news story on this project at swnewsmedia.com.
Five Guys Burgers & Fries in Duluth, MN – This mini-refresh started Jan. 10 and will be completed Jan. 22.
Office / Industrial
T-Mobile Switch Expansion in Eagan, MN is ongoing – work started March 2020, to be completed March 2021 (not pictured).
Xcel Energy, Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant – Administration building entrance ramp demolition and replacement – concrete work completed in December, to be finished in the spring.
Adam’s Healthy Home, Medina, MN – Modifications to a purchased building to convert for vehicle maintenance. Work will be done this month (not pictured).
MacDermid Enthone in Maple Plain, MN – Office and warehouse remodel projects started in December, to be completed this month (not pictured).
