Shingobee recently completed a new branch facility for TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union on Boone Avenue in Golden Valley, MN. On September 18, the Credit Union celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

TruStone Financial’s leadership and staff, along with Golden Valley Mayor and City officials, representatives of TwinWest Chamber of Commerce, Shingobee, and HTG Architects (the building’s designers), gathered to recognize the occasion. A special appearance was also made by the University of Minnesota mascot, Goldy Gopher.

Construction of the unique, 5,500 square foot building was started in fall of 2014, and completed in August of this year. The building’s design features an exterior of brick, stone, metal, and glass, and a contemporary, welcoming interior, utilizing the latest in design, technology, and energy-efficient features.
