John Rose Minnesota Oval

Roseville, Minnesota

The John Rose Minnesota Oval includes an 11,000-square-foot outdoor refrigerated ice surface and multi-purpose recreational facility.

The John Rose Minnesota Oval was, at the time, the largest outdoor refrigerated ice surface and multi-purpose recreational facility in the world. The Oval is 11,000 sq. ft. in size, equivalent to six hockey rinks. The project began in June 1993 and was completed in December of the same year. This project was done on a design/build basis with Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Assoc., Inc. Our client was the City of Roseville / St. Paul Parks & Recreation.
